Ritika Ganguly, PhD.

Artist, Consultant and Grants Professional

Ritika is a Minneapolis-based anthropologist, grants professional, and artist born and raised in New Delhi, India. Her consulting practice and artistic practice both strive for an equality based on difference, rather than on the similarity of things, people, and knowledges. In her consulting role as grantmaking strategist, she uses her ethnographic, analytical, and business storytelling skills to interview organizational knowledge-holders, write grant proposals, research grant prospects, build organizational capacity in grant-seeking, and evaluate the community impact of funded programs. As an artist, Ritika was commissioned as a composer by The Cedar Cultural Center in 2016, received the Naked Stages award in 2017, an MRAC Next Step award in 2018 for her research and new musical work in Baul (Bengali Sufi music/poetry), and was recently commissioned to write a mini opera for the Minnesota Opera. She is a loose leaf tea enthusiast.
