Grantwriting & Researching Opportunities
Starting in 2018!
This grantwriting and research strategy course will begin to build your professional materials for applying to grants and other art-related opportunities. The strategies look at the specifics of requests for proposal; including how to review all aspects of a given application process and guidelines provided by the organization leading the call for proposals. The individual artist voice is critical to this process; the artist is expected to make initial project narratives, artist statements and proposal drafts intended for a particular opportunity. The workshop will provide feedback from instructor and participating students of current work samples, artist statements, resumes and project plans. Examples of writing that you will conduct in applying for art opportunities include: brief biographies, artist statements, project narratives, resumes and budgets. Strategies and organizational practices will be shared for an on-going submission process for future grant applications. Reference materials and research data included along the way.
Cost: $165 for course. Register here.
